Usher Crew
We are looking for those who are willing to serve God by being an instrument of His peace and joy as we welcome those into the house of God. Ushers serve 2-3 services a month, prepare the church before and after service, and collect offerings during service.

General Usher Crew Responsibilities
Before The Service
- Greet members and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- When the sanctuary starts to fill up, help direct people to open pews and assist with finding seats.
- Assist with seating people with disabilities or special needs.
- Provide information about the church, upcoming events, and services.
- Ring the bell 12 times (once for each apostle)
During the Service
- Hand out worship folders to those who would like one.
- Assist with passing the offering plates
- Help with the flow of people during Holy Communion.
After the Service
- Collect Friendship Register sheets.
- Check pews for items left behind and add them to Lost and Found.
- Turn out lights and lock the doors.
Emergency Preparedness:
- Be familiar with emergency procedures and assist in case of an emergency.
General Expectations:
- Dress appropriately and maintain a neat and presentable appearance.
- Be a positive and helpful presence, representing Mount Calvary Lutheran in a welcoming way.
