What is it?

Advent by Candlelight is an event to help women focus on Christ during the busy holiday season. All ladies of the congregation (ages 6th grade and up), their female family members, friends, and neighbors are invited to attend and gather for dessert and fellowship followed by an Advent service program. The program focuses on the Word of God in a quiet setting to help everyone focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Through narration, readings, prayer, and music, the evening will draw those attending to see Christ as their Savior. There is no charge for this event.

Volunteer to be a table hostess!

Hostesses provide table settings, holiday decorations, candles and a dessert for a table of 8. Many partner with one or two others to host a table. It’s lots of fun and requires only a few hours of your time for planning, baking (or buying) and decorating. Refreshments are provided by Ladies REJOICE.

Reserve a Seat

Others are invited to enjoy the hospitality and the wonderful desserts provided by the hostesses. Reserve a seat for yourself and anyone attending with you by signing up for open seats on the sign-up sheets in the Narthex.

Sign up for Ladies Advent by Candlelight Choir

The choir is looking for more voices this year. This is open to women ages 6th grade and up. If you are interested, there is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex. Please contact Sara Weideman with any questions. Join anytime.

Practices: Monday evenings: Nov 9, 16 and 23 — 6pm in the church balcony.

Dress Rehearsal Practice: Saturday, Nov 28 @ 9am in the Fellowship Hall.

Day of Event Warm-Up: Sun, Nov 29 @ 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall.
