Second Grade
Veronica Broekema and Anna Lange
Second grade students have two teachers.
Mrs. Broekema has been teaching the second graders at Mount Calvary for eight years. She has also taught in Cudahy, Wisconsin and Anchorage, Alaska. Her favorite subject to teach is Christ Light.
When she has free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and watching her three children play sports or participate in music activities. She also loves when she has time to read or play the piano.
Mrs. Lange is a Wisconsin native, excited to be back in the Midwest after living in Texas. She graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in 2015 and has taught in every grade from preschool through high school since then.
She and her husband Matt, Mount Calvary Lutheran’s sixth grade teacher, were married in 2016. They have a daughter named Maisie, a cat named Oliver, and a dog named Kara. In her free time, she enjoys camping, painting, gardening, and exploring coffee shops.
