At Mount Calvary Lutheran, we believe that serving the Lord means loving one another, building each other up, and reaching out with the gospel. Each act of service—big or small—helps us grow together as the body of Christ and share His love with our community.
We invite you to prayerfully consider where your talents lie and find a volunteer opportunity that fits you best—we’d be blessed to have your help!

- Order Flowers to beautify the church for Easter (.pdf form)
Orders with checks must be placed in Candy O’Connell’s call box no later than Sunday, March 22nd - Guarding of the Tomb April 3-5
This has become an well known event in the Waukesha area. Sign up to guard our tomb as a Roman soldier. Shifts available from Good Friday Evening through Easter Sunday Morning. - Host a Booth at our Multi-Family Rummage Sale April 10-11
Friday 9-5 & Saturday 9-3. We invite those in church fellowship with the WELS to participate. This is an outreach event that allows many from the community to come in and check us out and ask questions about what we believe. This flea market–style rummage sale allows individual families to host their own booths and choose whether to keep the proceeds or donate them—it’s completely up to you. It’s also a wonderful opportunity for fellowship with our church family. - Be a Greeter for the Rummage Sale April 10 & 11
Welcome people when they enter the church. Tally how many people come through the doors each hour. Let attendees know that there are two floors, concessions downstairs. Direct to the elevator if needed. - Church Cleaning Volunteers Needed
We’re looking for volunteers to help clean our church building (this does not include the school). Two people are scheduled each week, and with enough volunteers, you’ll typically only be assigned about once every four weeks—or even less often! You’re also welcome to sign up for a specific task if you prefer. For example, some volunteers choose to clean just the cry room, while others take care of the windows. Every contribution makes a difference, and all help is truly appreciated. Help operate our worship screens and enhance the worship experience for our congregation. - Musicians for Worship Services
Use your musical gifts to glorify God—instrumentalists of all kinds are welcome. - Join the Choir
Lift your voice in praise and be part of our worship ministry. - Volunteer for a Cardinals Athletic Event
Help support our student-athletes and show your school spirit. - Share your photos
Capture life at Mount Calvary Lutheran! Your photos may be featured on our website, newsletter, or worship screens. - Content Creation – Writing and/or Photography
Use your creativity to help tell the story of what God is doing in our community.
