Bible Information Class
Sunday mornings 9:15-10:15 a.m.
Mount Calvary Lutheran’s Bible Information Class is for anybody who wants to learn more about what God says about Himself in the Bible. It is great for people who just want to know how to have a good relationship with God and others. It is perfect for school parents who want to become familiar with what their children are learning at our school. It is perfect for those who want to know about making Mount Calvary Lutheran their church home or want to know how Lutheran Christian teaching differs from their own past personal religious experience.
Each session runs about 12-14 weeks on Sunday mornings, from 9:15-10:15 a.m. (between our morning worship services.) We offer a fall session which begins in September, and a winter session that starts a few weeks after the New Year.
Anybody and everybody is welcomed to attend.
Once a person completes the class, he/she has one of three options.
- You can say “thank you very much, this really isn’t for me” and take no further action.
- You can request to become a member of Mount Calvary church family.
- You can request further consultations with Pastor Westendorf to further discuss topics and questions that we didn’t cover so that you feel very comfortable knowing what God and our church teaches.
Mount Calvary Lutheran also offers individual classes to those who can’t make the Sunday morning sessions.
